Can’t sleep? Join the club. It’s estimated that 50 to 70 million Americans have sleep disorders, according to the National Center for Sleep Disorders Research. Not only that, but about one in three adults don’t get the recommended amount of uninterrupted sleep to keep them healthy, happy and lucid.
Never fear, however. As with so many other ailments, those lovely little CBD molecules are racing to the rescue. Sleep aids containing CBD have been found to help people get better sleep in ways they’d never dreamed possible.

Cannabidiol in Anxiety and Sleep: a Large Case Series published in the Permanente Journal in 2019, took a look at whether CBD could improve sleep or reduce anxiety. The study involved 72 subjects, with 47 experiencing anxiety and 25 experiencing poor sleep. The subjects were each given 25 milligrams of CBD in capsule form each day. In the first month, 79.2 percent of the patients reported lower anxiety levels and 66.7 percent reported better sleep.
